Коммуникационные модули, в том числе ADAM-5091 и ADAM-5095, предназначены для работы с устройствами серии ADAM-4000/5000 и позволяют обмениваться данными посредством последовательных портов.

The ADAM-5090 is equipped with four RS-232 ports, which makes it especially suitable for bi-direction communication. It can simultaneously read data from other third-party devices such as modem, Bar Code reader, and PLCs as long as these devices are equipped with a RS-232 interface. Furthermore, the ADAM-5090 is fully integrated with the ADAM-4000/5000 series, and transmits data to each other through the RS-232 port.

ADAM-5095 is a special purpose communication module that offers the connectivity of the Controller Area Network (CAN). With its built-in CAN controllers, the ADAM-5095 provides bus arbitration and error detection with an automatic transmission repeat function. This drastically reduces the chance of data loss and ensures system reliability. The on-board CAN controllers are located at different positions in the memory, and you can run both CAN controllers independently at the same time. With high-compatibility, the ADAM-5095 can be used in diverse systems.
