Advantech’s PC/104 datacom modules offer a selection of RS-232, 485, and LAN communication modules in a PC/104 form factor. The series comprises various PC/104 add-on peripheral modules that feature a compact form factor, low power consumption, ruggedized design, and PC/104, PCI-104, or PC/104-Plus extension modules with an extended temperature range. PC/104 datacom products are ideal for limited-space installations and applications in harsh environments.

The PCM-3680 is a special purpose communication module which offers connectivity of the Controller Area Network to your PC. With the built-in CAN controller, the PCM-3680 provides bus arbitration and error detection with automatic transmission repeat function.
